Timrå IK’s Sebastian Hartmann had to be taken by ambulance to hospital during the match against Växjö.
The forward got a skate over the lower leg in a duel with Brian Cooper.
– You get shivers when you see it, because you see the seriousness. I hope things go well for Sebastian, said Staffan Kronwall in TV4’s studio.

– It was quite crazy. We were just in a normal melee, just like every puck duel, says the defender about the situation.
– I only saw that there were a few drops of blood that came on the ice and thought at first that maybe he had a nosebleed or something, but then he collapsed when he was about to step up and I only then saw that there was a large pool of blood and stain on the back of his bone.
He himself has not seen any pictures of the incident afterwards, but says that he was reached by reassuring news.
– I just tried to help him to the people who were closest, so he could get treatment. The medical team did a great job and I was told afterwards that he is fine.
How did it feel to you?
– It was a small relief. I felt terrible, because you don’t want to hurt anyone. But I’m glad he seems to be doing well, says Brian Cooper.
