BOLASPORT.COM – Exchange plan between Matthijs de Ligt and Timo Werner seen as unreasonable and could cause problems for Juventus.
After the departures of Antonio Ruediger and Andreas Christensen, strengthening in defense immediately became a top priority Chelsea in the 2022 summer transfer window.

The Dutch defender is reported to have told Juventus that he wanted to leave this summer after three years in Turin.

It is just, Chelsea did not want to pay the cost of De ligt’s release clause which reached 125 million euros or equivalent to Rp. 1.9 trillion.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Chelsea only willing to pay 45 million euros or the equivalent of Rp. 704 billion for De Ligt.
If the fee is still rejected by JuventusThe Blues will add Timo Werner to smooth out the steps to get De Ligt.
However, according to the Italian Football report reported by BolaSport.com, such a move is seen as unreasonable and could cause problems for the I Bianconeri.
The reason, they just lost Giorgio Chiellini a few weeks ago.
With Chiellini leaving, centre-back options Juventus became increasingly thin with only De Ligt, Leonardo Bonucci, Daniele Rugani, and Federico Gatti filled in.
Although 45 million euros (Rp 704 billion) from the sale of De Ligt would be enough to sign Gleison Bremer from Torino or Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli, Juventus would require more money from the sale of De Ligt.
Only a sale at a cost close to 100 million euros makes sense to Juventus who will buy a new centre-back and put some money in the bank with the deal.
Moreover, one of the targets Juventus is to make teams more sustainable and cut their wage bill.
