With the new year, the night buses N17 / N7 Stadtlohn – Gescher – Coesfeld – Billerbeck – Havixbeck – Münster and N51 / N20 Bocholt – Rhede – Borken – Velen – Coesfeld – Legden will start under new management. RVM Regionalverkehr Münsterland GmbH will offer the routes together with the night bus partner Westfälische Provinzial Versicherung. The municipal transport company is replacing Westfalen Bus.
“The change will hardly be noticeable for the passengers,” says Michael Klüppels, head of RVM traffic management. The buses will have a different paint scheme, but the timetables have been taken over from Westfalen Bus. Only the contact person will be different in the future when it comes to lost property and group registrations. From January, the RVM depot Stadtlohn will be available at 0 25 63/9 30 60, www.rvm-online.de. “Another novelty will be that the departures of the night buses will also appear in real time in the timetable information,” said Klüppels.
For the Provinzial Versicherung, press spokesman Christian Schäfer emphasizes: “We would like to thank Westfalen Bus for the joint work over many years. At the same time, I am sure that we will continue our successful engagement with RVM, which we have demonstrated on other night bus routes, with the N17 / N7 and N51 / N20 as well. ”
Due to the corona pandemic, however, night bus traffic will remain throughout Münsterland on all lines until the weekend of 9/10. January discontinued.
