Timetable changes and train stops in regional transport: Here’s what Brandenburg passengers need to know

Potsdam. Due to construction work at Deutsche Bahn, passengers on regional transport must be prepared for some movements in the coming weeks. The most important changes in perspective:

RE1: Movements and cancellations within Berlin

From the November 19, 2024 at 8:45 pm to November 23, 2024 at 4:45 am There will be changed journey times, departures and canceled stops for individual trains on the RE1 line in the Berlin area.

The reason for this is construction work by DB InfraGO AG. For more information see the PDF file.

RE7: New service between Bad Belzig and Brück (Marc)/Berlin Wannsee

Until Thursday, November 14, Monday to Friday, all day and on Friday, November 15, 12:00 a.m. to 4:45 a.m.: The amplifier trains on this line are canceled still until November 14, Monday to Friday between Bad Belzig and Berlin Wannsee. Alternatively, please use other links.

RE8 Nord: train stop between Wittenberge and Ludwigslust

Until December 14, 2024 at 11:55 p.m All trains on line RE8 between Wittenberge and Ludwigslust are cancelled. A new service with buses from Bernie Reisen UG will be established.

RE13: Loss of intermediate stops between Sedlitz Ost and Cottbus Hbf

Until November 22, all day: Multiplication and cancellation of intermediate stops between Sedlitz Ost and Cottbus Hbf as well as additional stops in Schwarzheide Ost and Großräschen and changed journey times.

RE18 and RB49: New service between Senftenberg main station and Cottbus

Until November 22, all day: There are trains Line RE18 and RB49 are canceled between Senftenberg and Cottbus Hbf. Alternatively, express buses (with no intermediate stops) and buses (with all intermediate stops) run between Senftenberg and Cottbus Hbf.

RB22: No train service between Potsdam Hbf and Königs Wusterhausen

Until November 21 (3:30 am) the trains fall RB22 line between Potsdam main station and Königs Wusterhausen and there are buses in place. The buses do not stop in Potsdam Charlottenhof, Potsdam Park Sanssouci, Golm and Potsdam Pirschheide. Alternatively, please use other links to/from the canceled stops.

RB23: There are no trains between Charlottenburg and BER

Due to cable work, the trains (RB 18170, 18171, 18172, 18173, 18174, 18175, 18176 and 18177) on this line between Berlin-Charlottenburg and BER Airport are cancelled. Monday, November 4th and Wednesday, November 6thfrom 8 pm to midnight.

Construction work on line RB32

Until Friday, November 22, some trains on this line will start/arrive differently in Schönefeld (near Berlin) on different operating days (extra stop). There is no stopover at BER Airport.

RB24: Construction work leads to a failed stoppage between BER and Rangsdorf

Until Friday, November 22, all day: Individual trains (RB18341, 18342, 18343 and 18345) start/end on this line on different traffic days different in Schönefeld (near Berlin) (extra stop). There is no stopover at BER Airport.

RB24 South: Train canceled between BER and Wünsdorf Waldstadt

Until December 14, all day: Train cancellation and new service between BER Airport and Wünsdorf Waldstadt. Trains of the line RB24 Right runs from Monday to Friday during peak hours between BER Airport and Rangsdorf. The RE 8 (ODEG) trains run as new trains between Rangsdorf and Wünsdorf-Waldstadt. On weekends, Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm and every day in the evening, buses replace the trains between Schönefeld and Zossen.

RB55: Trains between Velten and Hennigsdorf will be cancelled

Until December 13 (all day from Monday to Friday): The trains on this line are canceled between Velten and Hennigsdorf and will be replaced by buses. Please note that bus journey times differ from train times. Please check here for bus travel times and connection options Schedule. The trains also run between Kremmen and Velten with adjusted travel times (earlier/later). Note: RB 18585 (10:10pm from Kremmen) and 18550 (4:25am from Hennigsdorf) are running as planned.

RB60: Train canceled between Eberswalde and Wriezen

Traffic the trainer to December 14th broken all day on the section between Wriezen and Frankfurt (Oder). Alternatively, buses run there.

RE66 and RB66: Trains from Szczecin to Berlin and Angermünde will be canceled until December 2024

Trains on line RE66 are still running until 14 December (Szczecin – Berlin-Gesundbrunnen) and RB66 (Szczecin – Angermünde) between Szczecin Glowny and Angermünde/Berlin-Gesundbrunnen. As an alternative, please use the buses between Szczecin Glowny and Angermünde as well as the line’s trains RE3 (Stralsund/Schwedt – Lutherstadt Wittenberg). Please note that the new service’s journey times differ from the train’s service times.
