Tomorrow, Sunday 11 December, the general timetable change of local public transport will take place. This year, the Kreisverkehrgesellschaft Offenbach mbH (kvgOF) is only making small adjustments to the journey times and routes in the bus network in the Offenbach district. Some call collection taxis will be replaced by the modern shuttle on demand kvgOF Hopper, which will be introduced in summer 2022.
The kvgOF has a short flyer ready for all time changes. You can also find all the information about the time change at www.kvgOF.de, in the “Time booklet of the city and the Offenbach district 2023” at the price of 2.00 euros and in other timebooks of the individual municipalities. All information aids are also available at the advance booking offices and at the RMV mobility center of Kreisverkehrgesellschaft Offenbach mbH in Dietzenbach. There, the kvgOF mobility consultants are also happy to personally provide information on the respective changes and innovations.

Shuttle on demand kvgOF Hopper in nine municipalities out of thirteen
The kvgOF Hopper as an on-demand shuttle complements the public transit system of trains and buses in the last mile. The “bus on demand” can be ordered flexibly via app or telephone according to the wishes of the passenger, regardless of the time and stops. Obertshausen, Heusenstamm, Mühlheim, Egelsbach, Langen and Rödermark have been added to the hopper areas in the Offenbach district since the summer of 2022. The hopper has been in operation in Seligenstadt, Mainhausen and Hainburg since 2019. The Offenbach district is already the largest on-demand area of the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV).
The expansion of the service area to the entire Offenbach district is planned for 2023. Please see more information about the shuttle upon request www.kvgOF-hopper.de.
