An inspiration for children
The New Orleans native recalled that Mahomes was an advisor to ‘Manning Passing Academy’a football summer camp that was founded by Peyton and Eli’s father, and was for high school players.
“You can learn a lot about a person by the way they treat eighth and ninth grade students during those years. Patrick was great with the kids. I remember the strength of his arm back then. She jumped out at you,” Manning wrote.
Para Peyton, “Patrick is setting new standards. All these young players from all over the country are trying to imitate his amazing side passes and plays. But I hope you know that he is also an incredibly hard worker. He appreciates the cerebral part of the game. And he understands his platform, as the MVP quarterback of the Super Bowl winning team.”
