Group BTS has been selected as the’Entertainer of the Year’ by TIME, an American current magazine.
On the 10th (local time), Time revealed a list of the most influential people in each field this year on the official website, and selected BTS as the’Entertainer of the Year’. This is the first time that BTS has been in the entertainment category of’Person of the Year’ selected by field.
Time said, “BTS is not just a K-pop group that showed the greatest performance on the music chart, but has become the largest band in the world.” He introduced that he has reached the peak of the pop star rank.”
Time especially evaluated, “BTS did it at a time when the world stopped and people struggled to maintain a’connected’ state.”
BTS said, “This year, the fans and members gave us hope and happiness. We all sing, dance and practice together, and our daily routine was happiness and hope.”
