Tim Kane continues to give interviews left and right. This time, the creator of the Fallout franchise answered the question of who was the first to start a nuclear war in his universe. Of course, it was China – but the country had a good reason:
The reason why the nuclear bomb was dropped is because bioweapons were banned and somehow China found out that America was dealing with FEV (Man-Made Evolution Virus). They said, “You have to stop this.” And America said, “Okay.” But all they did was hide the FEV.
When the interviewer said that the developer’s words could be “devastating” for many fans of the franchise, Tim was very surprised, since he believed that everyone had known about this for a long time:
