The Rammstein singer accused of sexual misconduct seems to have launched the counterattack. Till Lindemann’s lawyers are taking legal action against people who have made allegations against the singer. They made this known in a statement on Twitter on Thursday.
“On social networks, especially Instagram, Twitter and YouTube, several women have made serious accusations against our client,” write lawyers Simon Bergmann and Christian Schertz. “It has been repeatedly alleged that women at Rammstein concerts have been drugged so that our client could have sex with them.”
All those allegations are false, according to the lawyers. “We are taking immediate legal action against individuals for all allegations of this nature.”
The first allegations came out when a Northern Irish woman shared her story on social media. She accused Lindemann of drugging her after a concert in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius.
The woman repeated her story on Thursday at the BBC. She was allegedly chosen by a Russian woman and ‘”recruited” to have sex with the singer. The Russian woman would also have given her access to the so-called ‘row zero’, a special zone at the front of the stage.
After the story of the Northern Irish woman, more women followed who accused the 60-year-old singer of sexual misconduct. Young women would be chosen at concerts and then invited to an after party. All kinds of sexual acts would take place there. The women would have been selected more often from ‘row zero’.

Concerts continue, but without penis cannon
On Wednesday it was announced that the German metal band has hired a law firm. The lawyers will investigate the allegations against Lindemann about his dealings with women.
Rammstein is currently on a European tour. The band played in Munich on Wednesday, with some adjustments. That’s how the band played the song Pussy for example not. Also missing is the cannon in the shape of a penis, with which the audience is sprayed with white foam. In addition, there was no row zero.
The men of Rammstein will play twice in Groningen next month.
