Tilde de Paula’s new life after the separation

A revolutionary change in existence.
Now Tilde de Paula talks about the separation and what her new life looks like.
There is no mistaking that the presenter is shaken.

It’s easy to forget, but Tilde de Paula, 51, is one of TV4’s most experienced presenters.

The star of the commercial family channel is so fresh and full of energy that it is hard to believe that she has actually passed the 50 mark.

Tilde is a highly regarded presenter in the TV4 hit “Efter fem”. Her younger colleagues can always lean on her for support and comfort.

Submitted “News morning”

It was actually Tilde de Paula who came up with the completely unique format and sold it to TV4 – she left “Nyhetsmorgon” and took on the new evening program instead – it was incredibly successful.

In addition to the TV job, there are some difficult things happening for Tilde de Paula on the home front right now.

Tilde has four children with three different fathers. The first sons Elijah23, and Zion22, she got together with the author Daniel Möllberg52.

The love ended in 2004 but it didn’t take long until Tilde got together with Fredrik Chest55, and they had the daughter Naomi18, together.

Nowadays, the presenter is married to the musician Thomas Eby43. Together they are blessed with the son Ilyah12.

Right now, Tilde de Paula is going through a major change in her life, three out of four children have left home. She experiences the separation from the children in a way that is perhaps best described as bittersweet.

– Life is much more airy. It’s a new age and it’s not so stupid. Nowadays, I am grateful that the children want to hang out with me as much as they do. My job has been to equip them so that they can and want to step out into independence. Some people find it hard when the kids move, but I think it’s awesome. Now I have done everything I can, Tilde tells the newspaper Amelia, which Happened reports on.

For Tilde de Paula, it is important to keep the relationship with her husband Thomas alive, she has a couple of tricks that she shares.

– Rose petals on the bed are not really my thing. On the other hand, I think it’s incredibly romantic that my husband brings coffee to my bed every single morning. That he has the strength to continue with it year after year. The cutest thing of all was that the last time my husband was on tour, I woke up to our youngest son coming in with a cup of coffee. “Now that dad’s gone, I’ll do it.” He is not as persistent as his father and came in once, then it was over.

Both Tilde and Thomas agree that they must give the relationship a real chance now that the “joint project” the children have flown out.

Got therapist

They avoid watching too much television.

– Netflix is such a damn relationship killer. I can also watch a series, but it gets too boring when you just sit next to each other. That’s why it’s so worth it to just go out and have a glass of beer or wine. Or at least put away all the phones and sit down at the kitchen table, says Tilde de Paula.

She has reached menopause and it has affected her. In addition to medical help, the presenter has acquired a therapist.

– At first it was hard and I became incredibly low and sad. Then I was quite angry for no reason for a period. There were things I had never been pissed off at before. But the strongest feeling was that I didn’t recognize myself, Tilde tells Amelia.

Then it got better, she got help to find a solution.

– My doctor has given me hormones so I can sleep and feel better. For the past two years, I have been trying to find my way back to myself.
