Recently, a woman wearing a hijab, the owner of the TikTok account @babbyca666, has been in the public spotlight, after sharing vulgar content showing off her breasts.
After her account went viral, the woman, known as Riski Aulia Marpaung (22) from Asahan Regency, North Sumatra, apologized on Friday (27/5/2022).
“I hereby express my sincere apologies for my mistakes and mistakes,” he wrote, quoted from detikSumut, Friday (27/5).
Apart from the vulgar video case, apologies often come after the viral action becomes a public conversation. Why does this phenomenon always occur?
According to psychologist Nuzulia Rahma Tristinarum from the Pro Help Center, it is natural that the word sorry often only appears after the case has gone viral. This phenomenon can also arise due to several supporting factors, such as a lot of external pressure.
“With going viral, there will be more pressure. If you can’t stand the pressure, of course this can change your behavior,” said Rahma to detikcom some time ago.
According to Rahma, the role of friends, family, and colleagues who can provide advice also has an effect on a person’s encouragement to express an apology after his actions go viral.
“With going viral, more information will come in, allowing someone to think about all the impacts and consequences of their actions,” continued Rahma.
“There could be a lot of family, friends, colleagues who give advice or opinions so that they can be taken into consideration for making decisions,” he concluded.
