Termination is always unpleasant. A TikTok user is now proving the opposite. In a video he films his farewell present after seven years with the company – causing horror among other users TikTok. A young woman recently sparked enthusiasm on the platform with a brilliant tip for working from home.

TikTok user receives nothing more than a tea bag when saying goodbye to his company

His farewell gift is not flowers or a voucher. Instead, he receives an organic herbal tea and a short note in scraggly writing on a Post-it note: “All the best for the rest of your life!” A farewell note could hardly be designed more lovingly. The incident is reminiscent of the story of a man from the USA who was given a certificate and a barbecue to say goodbye to his company after more than 40 years with the company.

Over 600 comments have now accumulated under the video. The vast majority of TikTok users are stunned. One man writes: “Loyalty to the company doesn’t pay off.” Another says: “Then it’s better to do nothing than that. That seems like mockery.” A young woman even emphasizes: “I would have left it in the office!”
