TikTok to challenge US sales order in court – IT Pro – News

So because I do not (completely) agree with the Western way of doing things, I immediately like the Chinese state propaganda, is that how it works nowadays? I’ll tell you 1 thing, I never read Chinese state propaganda.

I’m not saying that: You just use the exact same arguments … where do you think they come from?

What I do see is that over the centuries the West (and still does) impose rules on China and large parts of the world that mainly benefit us and not others. That is why I cited the example of Africa. I did not say a word about the Chinese interference in Africa, it was not even about me, so talking about whataboutism …

And it is precisely that behavior that only we want to get better from, see abolition of colonization etc.
Yes there is enough to complain about and I can also make a list of it only 1 big difference: I can write about it without fear of disappearing.

It has already become clear that if a country meets the core values that the west adheres to (freedom of speech, freedom of the press, rule of law) that a country will do better than a dictatorship (If you are going to use China as an argument then I urge you to view income per person) and when you look at

then you see that almost all developing economies share these values … because it creates a fair business climate where most innovative parties win.

What all countries also have in common: a free and open market. (apart from countries like saudi arabia that happen to have a commodity that everyone wants …. only how many companies from saudi arabia do you know that have nothing to do with oil?)

There is also nothing wrong with protecting developing economies but it is not the intention that protection is abused despite the low per person income you can no longer consider China as a developing economy in the term it is meant in (e.g. an African country with poor infrastructure and not very competitive companies)

I’m not pro China if you still have that impression. As far as I am concerned, the West can boycott China completely and leave China if we find doing business with China so annoying. But don’t keep nagging if someone else benefits more from a collaboration than we have done for centuries. And of course, while Western companies AND consumers are still profiting from it.

It is about how you get the advantage and at a certain point if you want to have global trade then everyone must adhere to the same rules, if you deviate from this, you will get that protection again, etc.

My apologies for coming across immediately was not the intention just to see the same arguments constantly coming by that actually make the problem worse.

By the way, here is a link with how companies are doing in China:
eec.no/european-business-in-china-business-confidence-survey-2018/

“Now that Chinese companies are clearly becoming stronger and more competitive, it is time for China to remove the training wheels in order to create a sustainable economy in the long term,” said European Chamber President Mats Harborn.
