Interestingly, TikTok has given its new “TikTok Now” feature to the top spot with a dedicated card straight from the gate.

TikTok Now will also be available as a standalone app
Another great feature of TikTok Now is that the feature should also be available as a standalone app. TikTok explains that a test phase will begin in the coming weeks. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, TikTok Now will be available via the TikTok app and as a standalone app.
When using the space, creators can choose who sees their content or who can interact with it. You can block other users and only allow certain comments. Content that infringes TiKToks Community guidelines violated can be reported immediately for review.
TikTok relies on youth protection for TikTok Now
Various rules for the protection of minors apply in the TikTok Now app. This includes the fact that the accounts of users under the age of 16 are automatically made private, just like on TikTok. Users under the age of 18 cannot share their content via the Explore feed. And for users aged 13-15, comments are limited to friends to avoid unwanted contact.
People over 18 can see the content of mutual friends and people who have more open privacy settings I chose. By default, the option is designed so that only friends can see your content. However, the privacy settings can be changed on the posting screen.
TikTok Now will launch worldwide in the coming weeks. However, the area could still be changed in the future, because the ByteDance subsidiary explicitly requests feedback from the first users of the copy of BeReal.
