Already yesterday (July 6th) the rumor spread that the young man had died. The police and influencer friends have now confirmed this. Delaware Online first reported that Matima Miller was shot at around 10:42 am in Wilmington, US on Monday. The young man was taken to the hospital and later died there from his injuries.

The TikTok star family speaks out

“On behalf of our family, we want to thank you for the support we received after the death of our beloved Matima Miller, also known as ‘Swavy’ or ‘Babyface’. He was taken from us by unnecessary gun violence,” he said Friends on Instagram. Due to the ongoing investigation, they are unable to provide any further information about his death. His death is now supposed to bring about justice. In the city of 70,000 people, 16 people have already died from firearms this year.
