Those responsible for “Victoria’s Secret” may not have liked this action at all: the US musician Jax sharply criticizes the fashion label – by means of a spectacular flash mob in front of one of the shops.
This woman has a mission: Last month, American singer Jax (26) released her new song “Victoria’s Secret”. Celebrating fashion brands is nothing new in the music industry, but the song is more of a reckoning.
In the song, the musician sharply criticizes the fashion label. Among other things, she sings: “Photoshop and skinny models on magazine covers told me I was overweight. I stopped eating.”

She’s particularly harsh on the song’s chorus, where she says, “I know ‘Victoria’s Secret’, she’s an old man who lives in Ohio and makes money off girls like me. He’s profiting from problems with his own body and selling the image of skin and bones with big breasts – ‘Victoria’s Secret’ is really a guy.”
What is meant by these lines is the American businessman Leslie Wexner (84), who bought the company in 1982. The song, which has meanwhile been clicked millions of times, probably didn’t taste good anyway – but Jax went one step further.
Because Jax summarily drummed up a whole team of dancers and organized a spectacular, colorful flash mob to their song – and of all places in front of a “Victoria’s Secret” branch in New York’s Manhattan district.
She then published a video of the action TikTok, where it has already been clicked around 3.3 million times. There are also over two million views on Instagram, where she also shared the video.
