TikTok Launches “TikTok Music” in Mexico: A New Music Streaming Service

TikTok is bringing its new service to Mexico, related not to video, but mainly focused on the subject of music streamingalthough powered by its original application.

This platform, simply called “TikTok Music” is a new platform that allows you to find songs that are already known on the social network, but maintaining the essence of be a streaming servicewith catalogs such as Warner, Sony, Believe and Merlin.

According to the platform, TikTok Music, which is already available in Indonesia and Brazil, arrives in Mexico as a private beta on June 19, as well as Australia and Singapore.

For now the service will be available only for three thousand people for each territory, although in the coming months TikTok promises that Music will be available to the rest of the public, both in the App Store, the Play Store or directly from music.tiktok.com. Additionally, beta participants will have a three-month free trial to test the service.

Users who wish to use this new service they will need to connect their TikTok account to be able to listen to “your favorite viral music” directly on the platform, with functions to discover new artists, a karaoke mode and additional functions to build a community with other users with whom you share tastes.

For the country at the moment there is no specific price for the subscription, but according to TikTok Mexico, it will cost approximately 115 pesos per month.

In the case of IndonesiaTikTok Music con three different plans: Individual, Student and Family (up to six accounts).

All these plans include unlimited downloads, ad-free music and the ability to play songs in any order, in the same way that other platforms like Spotify already do.
