Tiktok has begun testing adding a new full-screen landscape video mode to the app. A small group of users should have received a new icon on the screen that appears if the video can be viewed in the new format (for Tiktok), write ZD network.
Previously, landscape videos played with large black frames at the top and bottom to fit the vertical floating screen.
