In its 15th edition, the <a href="http://www.world-today-news.com/15th-edition-of-the-tijuana-interzona-festival-pays-tribute-to-franz-kafka/" title="15th edition of the Tijuana Interzona Festival pays tribute to Franz Kafka“>Tijuana Interzona Festival included a tribute to Franz Kafka and the presentation of a Digital Library that compiles publications by local and regional authors.
With this collection, literature is promoted and the academic production of Tijuana and Baja California residents is promoted, in addition to strengthening the culture of the northwest region of Mexico.
The Tijuana Interzona Festival is a citizen initiative of Tijuana Esplandián, which has the support of the Secretariat of Culture of Baja California, Erizo Media, My Media Orange, La Maquila, Estación Cultural and El Centro Cultural Tijuana, among others.
The tribute to Franz Kafka is carried out on the centenary of his death and a work by the artist Lizardo Hernández will be unveiled at La Maquila, Estación Cultural.
The first day scheduled for the afternoon of Friday, October 25, closes with the Fémina suite concert by Clarisa Brassea, Sol Flores, Zara Gilbert and Luna Mondragón, while the multidisciplinary artist Úrsula Tania will give her lecture-show on Queen Calafia.
The border festival also included film premieres Kumeyay Land by Dylan Verrechia and silent stateby Santiago Maza, in which there will be analysis tables and a forum for exchanging opinions with the filmmakers in the Carlos Monsiváis room at CECUT.

Regarding literary activities, it will be presented Glimpses of the cultural sectorby Eduardo Cruz Vázquez, The cave paintings of Baja Californiaby Enrique García Sánchez, Poetry in motion of the collective Tomorrow it will rain and the Poetry workshops Analog Collage by the writer Melissa Sánchez, and Whoever gets it gets it by Juan Carlos Rea.
There will be a concert by Chilean Cristóbal Briceño, accompanied by Olas Altas and Carolina en Llamas, in coordination with Erizo Media.
The closing of the Festival will be with the concert “Homenaje Spinetta/ Artaud” with the purpose of paying tribute to Pescado Rabioso’s masterpiece, which revolutionized Latin American rock for its poetics and sound experimentation.
