Tihomir Yanakiev has again been elected leader of the list and a candidate for mayor of the Municipality of Sozopol. This was decided today at the BSP Municipal Conference. A decision was also taken to contest the elections in a coalition format with other parties.
Negotiations are currently underway with other political formations that will support Yanakiev in the elections. By the middle of September, it will be clear who they will be.
At the BSP conference in Sozopol, the deputy is Petar Kanev, as well as BSP representatives from the district.
Tihomir Yanakiev presented his report for the last 4 years, and the socialists in Sozopol voted their full support.
The executive council of the municipal formation of the BSP in Sozopol is a correct analysis of the situation of the entire political situation in the country. Its conclusion is that the coalition format will be best suited to attract a wider range of people with similar views and ideas.
Several parties from the center-left space recognize the candidacy of Tikhomir Yanakiev and are ready to support it.
The candidates for municipal councilors, which Tihomir Yanakiev will hold in the local elections on October 29, are already being discussed. It will be arranged by the Executive Bureau. It will have places for the coalition partners, and new names will be present from the ranks of the BSP.
Petar Kanev stated that he is satisfied with the fact that there are many new faces on the list for municipal councilors.
