This is good news for Dominican Republic baseball fans living in New York.
This is because the Tigres del Licey and Águilas Cibaeñas will play the first games of the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (Lidom) in November at Yankee Stadium.
The matches will take place on Friday, November 8th at 6:00 pm and Saturday, November 9th at 2:00 pm
After each game, fans will be able to enjoy a free concert.
The games are part of the series called “La Revancha,” which features the two most successful teams in the history of the Dominican Winter League. The Tigres have won 24 championships, including the last two, while the Águilas won their 22nd title in 2021.
The games come a year after they played at Citi Field.
