Tigor M Siahaan submitted his resignation as President Director and CEO of PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk on October 21, 2021.
Head of Marketing, Brand & Customer of CIMB Niaga Bank Toni Darusman revealed that in accordance with the applicable rules and the Company’s Articles of Association, the approval of the application will be decided in the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) which will be held in the near future.
He explained that the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Board of Commissioners had started the process of selecting a replacement for Tigor M. Siahaan.
“The company’s business operations continue as usual and Mr. Tigor M. Siahaan continues to provide optimal support during the transition process,” he said in a press release, Friday (10/22/2021).
Toni said the Board of Commissioners and Management of CIMB Niaga expressed the highest appreciation.
“And thank you to Mr. Tigor M. Siahaan for his contribution and dedication for almost 7 years of work and achievements in leading CIMB Niaga,” he explained.
Tigor became President Director of CIMB Niaga in 2015. He replaced Arwin Rasyid who resigned. Tigor was previously a chairman at Citibank Indonesia.
