Carole Baskin spoke in an interview with Monday Pinknews indicate that they consider themselves bisexual.
“I’ve always considered myself bisexual,” says the owner of Big Cat Rescue from the Netflix documentary Tiger King. “Although I’ve never had a wife, I could just as well have a husband.”
According to Baskin, “we are all one”. “I don’t think in different genders or skin colors.”
Baskin was married to Don Lewis when he went off the radar in August 1997. In the Netflix documentary Tiger King Lewis’ family and former zoo owner Joe Exotic suggest that Baskin has something to do with the disappearance of her husband.
Exotic is the main character from Tiger King. He is currently serving a 22-year sentence for hiring a man to kill Baskin and assaulting and killing animals in his park.
Baskin doesn’t see the gay ‘Tiger King’ Joe Exotic as a bad showcase for the LGBTI community alone. “He is a bad example for the whole community.”
