Tirupati: A tiger bit a child who had come to the temple with his family in Tirupati. The tiger attacked Kaushik, a three-year-old boy. The tiger attack occurred at the seventh mile of the footpath to the temple. After biting the child, the tiger ran into the forest and the people raised a ruckus and threw stones at him. With this, the tiger left the child and hid in the forest. The critically injured child was shifted to Tirupati Devaswom Hospital and from there to Padmavati Hospital.
