While Sogndal beat Trøndelag, Jerv beat league leader Tromsø 1-0. This means that it closes in on the top of the 1st division football for men.
Sogndal were good and effective in the first half against Ranheim. Tomas Olai Totland scored almost straight from the start, and Kristoffer Hoven – who last year was a KBK player – and Aljoner Ndour followed with two quick after about half an hour played. Hoven scored his seventh of the season after the break.
Jervs Simon Andreas Larsen scored on an indirect free kick from the penalty spot 19 minutes into the first half, and thus there were three points for the team from Grimstad against the big favorites from the north.
Topper
Tromsø still tops the table after eight victories, and two losses in ten series rounds. Tromsø has 24 points, while Ranheim is still in 2nd place with 21 points.
Sogndal is up to 19 points in 3rd place, while Åsane is in 4th place with 17 points after the 4-1 victory at home against Sandnes Ulf. Henrik Udahl and Håkon Lorentzen both scored for the home team. Sanil Kapidzig scored for Sandnes Ulf.
HamKam played 1-1 at home against Grorud in the first match with Kjetil Rekdal as coach at Briskeby. Grorud took the lead by Martin Høyland after 13 minutes of play, while Kristian Onsrud equalized.
Struggling
Lillestrøm – with former KBK coach geir Bakke at the helm – is struggling. On Monday night, it was a weak 2-2 at home for Raufoss even though they played with one man more in almost the entire second half. A mistake by the home side’s central defense after 53 minutes allowed Ole Kristian Lauvli to score for Raufoss.
At that time it was 1-1 after Marius Alm had given Raufoss the lead and Torbjørn Kallevåg equalized. Gard Simenstad gave Raufoss the lead midway through the half, but Thomas Lehne Olsen equalized again with four minutes left of regular time.
Steffen Jenssen’s goal in the 74th minute ensured a 1-0 lead for Ull / Kisa over Stjørdals-Blink. Anders Nygaard equalized seven minutes later, but 16-year-old Elias Sebastian Solberg won the match for the home team. Ull / Kisa took over the relegation line.
Strømmen and Øygarden played 2–2. Øygarden took the lead after an own goal by Sverre Bjørkkjær. Brede Sandmoen and Magnus Tvedte turned for the home team, before Martin Hoel Andersen equalized with nine minutes left to play.
