KOMPAS. com – PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) has started selling tickets panoramic machine from today, Saturday (24/12/2022).

KAI Public Relations Vice President Joni Martinus said that the scenic train will be assembled during the journey of the additional Taksaka train (Gambir – Yogyakarta pp).

“For each additional Taksaka train journey, KAI will operate 1 scenic train with a capacity of 46 seats,” he said, when contacted by kompas.com, Saturday (24/12/2022).

Panoramic car it will work during December 24, 2022 – January 8, 2023.

Combined with the Taksaka train, the scenic train will operate Jakarta – Yogyakarta round trip route (Gambir – Yogyakarta round trip).

From 24 December 2022 to 8 January 2023, the departure times of the Panoramic Train are as follows:

1. THE 7011C

• Departs: Yogyakarta 21:40 WIB
• Arrival: Gambir at 05.33 WIB

2. THE 7012C

• Departure: Gambir at 10.40 WIB
• Arrive: Yogyakarta at 6.39pm WIB

3.KA7025B

• Departure: Yogyakarta 12:00 WIB
• Arrival: Gambir at 7.30pm WIB

4.KA7026B

• Departure: Gambir at 11.45pm WIB
• Arrival: Yogyakarta 07:50 WIB.

To introduce the scenic train, Joni said her party is offering ticket price promotions.

To enjoy the ride on the scenic train, passengers only need to spend Rp 750,000.

“During the promotional period, Taksaka Additional Scenic Train tickets are sold from IDR 750,000,” Joni said.

However, Joni pointed out that KAI only provides a limited amount of promotional tickets.

Orders can be placed by purchasing additional Panoramic Taksaka train tickets on the KAI Access application, KAI website and all other official KAI sales channels.

The scenic train is one of KAI’s innovations in providing comfortable and memorable travel services.

Joni explained that the scenic train has special specifications that make it different from other trains in general.

“This train gives customers an amazing feeling of enjoying the scenery along the way,” Joni said.

This specification is expected to be the first in Indonesia.

Equipped with oversized windows on both sides, passengers can enjoy the scenery along the way.

Indeed, even the glass roof of this train extends from front to back which can be opened and closed automatically.

Not only that, Scenic railway facility they include comfortable seats that can be rotated towards the window, remotely controllable blinds, spacious bathrooms with automatic sensors, televisions at the end of the train and special luggage racks at the end of the train.

Panoramic train customers also receive special services in the form of free snacks, food, drinks and blankets.

Currently, KAI has 2 scenic train units which are an innovation of Balai Yasa KAI Surabaya Gubeng.

In the future, KAI may add scenic trains to various circuits in addition to KAI.
