Ticketmaster calls on all users to set a new password. According to the concert ticket seller, “unusual login attempts with a number of accounts” were discovered, after which passwords were reset.
It is unknown whether the passwords for all accounts have been reset. Ticketmaster says that all information is in it the mail sent to Dutch account holders.
The concert ticket seller writes that hackers may have used a leak from another service where users used the same password. “Unfortunately, people often use the same login details on many different websites,” Ticketmaster writes in the email.
