Some of the sports associations that already work with this platform are F1, the NBA or teams like Arsenal. In Mexico, some of the events that already have this platform available are the Mexico City Grand Prix and the Club América season ticket.
What is Ticketmaster Account Manager?
The Account Manager at Ticketmaster is an online platform designed to help users manage their event tickets. Through this tool, users can:
- View and manage purchased tickets.
- Transfer tickets to other people digitally.
- Print tickets or display them on mobile devices to enter events.
It is especially useful for people attending multiple events or who need to manage multiple tickets for a single event, making it easier to manage and digitally access tickets. Although in some markets there is regulated resale through this platform, in Mexico it is not yet available.
Why use this type of tool?
According to Matthew Jafarain, business strategy leader for the Miami Heat, over the past 25 years, the way sports experiences are consumed and lived has become more sophisticated.
“One of the greatest values we have with this platform is that we can get to know our users better and in this way have a defined strategy to encourage them to attend sporting events. It is not the same to have a user who attends with his family as a user who wants an experience where he wants very specific metrics of what is happening, which is why the experiences of both can be elevated, because we know that they like it. each one,” said Jafarain.
Among the numbers that Ticketmaster highlights, in terms of benefits that arenas and sports centers can have, are the savings in operation.
For example, the MLB saves its 30 teams 7,200 hours of work by using this tool, while Arsenal managed to distribute 420,000 tickets through restricted voting, that is, a strategy very focused on the team’s true fans.
Club América and Account Manager
Miguel Ángel Garza García, director of strategic planning for Club América, pointed out that the fans closest to the team want a closer experience with the players.
“Our subscribers were looking for immediacy and we needed a management portal, for example to give control to transfer tickets. Furthermore, now it is easier to get to know our users,” said Garza.
