On Friday, March 25, at 3 p.m., public ticket sales for the upcoming concert will begin.
As previously announced, due to different restrictions on the distribution of Covid-19 in each country, the band had to postpone this spring’s concert tour, during which a performance was also scheduled for March 14 in Riga.
According to the organizers of the LTips Agency, the postponement of the concert means good news for those who failed to buy tickets last autumn, because now additional tickets will go on sale. We remind you that on September 30, all tickets available at that time were only redeemed within three hours. Previously purchased tickets are valid for the new concert date.
“We are very happy to finally tell you that our Loud Kids tour has become so loud that it will be heard all over the world. In fact, it will be our first tour in the US. some new ones that previously missed the opportunity to buy tickets.
Of course, it is very difficult to announce concerts at a time when the terrible war is going on in Ukraine and innocent people are suffering. We are shocked by the Ukrainian people and we are in solidarity with them. And because of the decisions of the people in power that affect the lives of so many innocent people, we are canceling Russia’s dates. We all need to stand together for peace now and always, “say the band ‘s musicians.
Måneskin is the first Italian band to top the British singles chart with two tracks and only the second band in Eurovision history to have another song (not the Eurovision winner) on the US Billboard Global 200. With a total of seven diamond, 161 platinum and 37 gold discs, millions of streams and views on platforms such as Spotify, iTunes, YouTube, Deezer, etc., Italian rockers have strengthened their global position in all major music markets.
“With their so energetic, rough and unaccustomed sound, perfectly blended with modern musical winds, the members of Måneskin have brought rock music back to the top of the world. “And now they will perform in Riga,” the organizers of the concert write.
Måneskin was officially founded in 2016, although some members of the group were already known during high school. Vocalist Damiano, bassist Victoria, guitarist Thomas and drummer Ottan met and chose the name “Måneskin” or “moonlight” in Danish at the suggestion of Victoria, who is of Danish origin.
The sound of the band is a combination of several styles – rock, hip-hop, pop, reggae, funk, etc., complemented by the emotional timbre of Damiano’s voice.
They began their musical careers by playing in the streets of Rome, until the Italian version of the talent show “X Factor” in season 11 in 2017. As a result, they won second place and the first serious concert tour, in which, despite still a little experience, they presented themselves convincingly. The single “Chosen”, which was released in parallel with the concert tour, gained the status of double platinum in Italy, and platinum will soon follow the debut mini-album of the same name.
In the spring of 2018, there were 21 concert tours that sold out in a matter of hours. At the beginning of the same year, the single “Morirò da Re” (triple platinum status) was released, followed by “Torna a Casa” (five times platinum). They are paving the way for the already full-length album “Il Ballo Della Vita”, which will be released in the autumn. In less than two hours, the album became iTunes’ number one album, reaching one million streams in the next 24 hours.
Winged by the success of the album, in 2019, Måneskin went on a European concert tour of “Il Ballo Della Vita”, which included cities in Spain, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany and even Great Britain in addition to his native Italy. In total, in 2019, the band gave more than 70 sold-out concerts.
2019/2020 The band spent the winter in London working on new musical material and honing their style. As a result, the second full-length album “Teatro d’ira: Vol. I” was released last March, once again reaching platinum status. At the same time, Måneskin won the Sanremo Music Festival in early March with the now well-known hit “Zitti e Buoni”, but triumphed at the Eurovision Song Contest in May.
Released last July, the video for “I Wanna Be Your Slave” collected 6.7 million views in just 24 hours, becoming the most watched music video in 67 countries around the world.
In September, Måneskin was invited to Paris to perform alongside stars such as Ed Shiran, Elton John, Black Eyed Peas, Doja Cat, etc. on the Global Citizens Live project. , where they were awarded Best Rock Band, warmed up for the Rolling Stones in Las Vegas and performed in full – fledged concerts in the United States and the United Kingdom.
