Tia’s camp says that Hasto was ahead of the party’s decision to nominate Bonnie as a member of the DPR

Lawyer for former PDI Perjuangan cadre Tia RahmaniaJupryanto Purba, that the appointment of Bonnie Triyana as an elected member of DPR was engineered. Because, he said, Bonnie was nominated as a member of the DPR long before the PDIP Party Court decided.

Jupryanto said Bonnie’s announcement was made by PDIP General Secretary Hasto Kristiyanto in June. At the same time, he said, the decision of the Court of the PDIP Party which said that his client had increased his vote in the Legislative Election 2024 came on September 3 only.

“Pak Hasto, the General Secretary, said on June 5 that Bonnie is the member of the DPR. This means that she had already made the decision of the Party Court,” Jupryanto told journalists at the Police Criminal Investigation Unit, South Jakarta, Friday (27/9/2024).

“This means that before the decision of the Court comes out, the Party has already given an opinion. The class of the Secretary General can say something like that. There is a video on social media, you can investigate,” he said.

Because of this, he questioned the transparency of the PDIP Party Court in this case. This is because the Party Court has sent a letter of unilateral dismissal of the client to the KPU on September 13.

However, following Jupryanto, his client only received the termination letter on Thursday (26/9). At that time, the KPU had appointed Bonnie Triyana as an elected member of the DPR.

“So after he was first sent out to the KPU, they were dismissed. That is the question for us, even if the letter was from September 13, what is going on? Bu the right of the Party Court to be transparent,” he explained.

PDIP fires Tia over vote rigging issue

PDIP is known to have fired elected DPR member Tia Rahmania from party membership based on a decision letter from KPU Chairman Mochammad Afifuddin. Bonnie Triyana, who belongs to the same constituency, was replaced by Tia Rahmania.

Tia Rahmania was dismissed based on a copy of KPU order No. 1368 of 2024 regarding the fourth amendment to KPU order No. 1206 of 2024 regarding the Decision of selected candidates for DPR members in the 2024 General Election access it on the official website of KPU on Wednesday. (25/9).

The decision letter dated 23 September 2024, was signed by KPU President Mochammad Afifuddin and KPU General Secretary Andi Krisna. In the letter, there were two changes to the elected DPR members, namely in Central Java V constituency and Banten I constituency.
