Tianwen-1 was captured by Mars, the film exposed it flew from Mars day to night-Hong Kong Economic Times-China Channel-China News

The Chinese Mars probe Tianwen-1 has entered the orbit of Mars and sent back images to the earth, showing the process of the engine being ignited when the Tianwen-1 is under near-fire braking and the explorer is captured by Martian gravity.

The National Space Administration released images of the Tianwen-1 probe into the orbit process of Mars, which fully recorded the view of Mars entering and exiting the Tianwen-1 probe, the probe’s slight vibration after the engine was ignited, and the process of the probe flying from Mars to night. The solar wing, directional antenna, Martian atmosphere and surface topography on the probe are clearly visible.

This image was taken by a surveillance camera on the Tianwen-1 orbiter responsible for monitoring the status of the solar wing and directional antenna. The camera takes one shot every 3 seconds, which lasts about half an hour, and the video is composed of about 10 fast forward photos per second.

In the United States, it took 32 years for Tianwen No.1 to complete it in one go.

Why is it difficult to brake when Tianwen 1 arrives on Mars?

During the next flight of Tianwen-1, the surveillance camera will continuously monitor the operation of the solar wing and directional antenna, and record the exploration trip of Tianwen-1.

Tianwen No.1 implemented near-fire braking on the night of the twenty-ninth (10th) of the lunar new year. The engine ignited forward for about 15 minutes to slow down the probe. Tianwen No.1 smoothly entered the spot close to Mars at a distance of 400 kilometers and an inclination of 10 degrees. The 10 Earth days of the Mars large elliptical orbit, the first step of the Tianwen-1 Mars mission to “circle, fall, and patrol”.

After Tianwen-1, it will change its orbit many times and enter the orbit of Mars for scientific exploration. The Tianwen-1 lander and rover are scheduled to land on Mars between May and June this year. The location will be in the southern part of the Martian Utopia Planitia.

The UAE is ahead of China to board Nozomi and Mars

The success rate of Mars mission is only 50%

Why is Tianwen No. 1 flying hundreds of millions of kilometers away from the earth only tens of millions of kilometers?
