Investing 250,000 euros, the hospitality company “Tiamo grupa” has opened the eighth pizzeria “Čili Pizza” in Riga, where 40 new jobs are planned.
In total, the hospitality company has invested two million euros in opening pizzerias in Riga.
Starting from 2020, “Tiamo grupa” has opened “Čili Pizza” pizzeria in the shopping and entertainment center “Akropole”, shopping mall “Origo”, shopping mall “Alfa”, shopping mall “Olimpia”, shopping mall “Gaiļezers” , “Zoom” shopping center and “Spice Home” shopping center, creating about 30-40 jobs in each location. The newest pizzeria has been opened in the shopping center in Ziepniekkalns, Valdeķu Street, built this year, opposite the retail chain store “Lidl”.
The area of the new “Chili Pizza” is 305 square meters, and the total area of the shopping center is 2,600 square meters.
“Opening a pizzeria in Ziepniekkalns is a strategic choice. We are following the demand – more and more people want places to eat right in the sleeping areas, closer to home. In addition, the pizzeria on Valdeku Street is located in a place with easy access by car or public transport, ”says Toms Zukulis, Chairman of the Board of Tiamo Group.
“The shopping center at 39 Valdeku Street will undoubtedly improve and revitalize the infrastructure of Ziepniekkalns. Of particular relevance during the Covid-19 restrictions is the fact that the mall’s layout provides for a completely separate entrance for all tenants from the outside. During the design process, the developer VPH Latvia foresaw possible changes in the activities of tenants during the pandemic and chooses to implement such a concept. We are glad that “Čili Pizza” has also become a tenant in the new shopping center, “says Vyacheslav Novickis, Colliers International, building manager.

Currently, 17 Chili Pizza pizzerias operate in Latvia in Liepaja, Jelgava, Ogre, Valmiera, Daugavpils and Riga under the leadership of the Tiamo Group.
