As made official on the social networks of the institution on Avenida López y Planes, midfielder Tiago Banega is a new reinforcement for Unión, a club that continues to outline its squad with a view to developing the Professional Soccer League Cup.
The central midfielder is from Entre Ríos and is 24 years old. He comes from Arsenal de Sarandí, a club where he played 15 games and scored a goal in the 2-0 victory against Tigre.
After successfully passing the medical examination, the soccer player signed a loan contract for 18 months and on Thursday he will join training under the orders of “Kily” González. His pass belongs to Racing Club de Avellaneda.
Banega also has a past in the Paraná Board of Trustees, where he played on loan and is well remembered for scoring the most important goal in the club’s history, the one that gave him the title of champion against Talleres for the Argentine Cup.

Tiago Banega joins Patricio Tanda, 5 from the Racing reserve, and Gonzalo Morales, from the Boca reserve, who already made his debut and converted with the “Tate” shirt in last Saturday’s match against the Academy.
