The start of the autumn holidays in Saxony: From Friday to Sunday, a total of 142 passenger planes will take off from central German airports, 52 of them at Dresden airport and 90 at Leipzig / Halle airport.

67 holiday planes and 23 scheduled flights will take off from Leipzig / Halle for the first holiday weekend. 28 cars leave Leipzig / Halle for Antalya and nine for Hurghada. Palma de Mallorca and Heraklion will be visited six times at the start of the holiday season. Three flights take off to Las Palmas, Rhodes and Istanbul. Two flights each depart for Corfu, Kos and Fuerteventura. A total of 19 airlines take off from Leipzig / Halle airport to 19 destinations in the sun at the start of the holiday season.

In addition, 23 scheduled flights to the hubs depart from Leipzig / Halle airport, ten to Frankfurt, six to Munich, four to Vienna, three to Istanbul and one to Paris / Orly.

At the start of the holiday season, 23 holiday planes and 29 scheduled flights will take off from Dresden. Eight planes take off for Antalya, seven for Palma de Mallorca and four for Heraklion. Other holiday planes leave for Hurghada, Fuerteventura and Rhodes as well as Kos.

Lufthansa leaves Dresden more frequently. The airline takes its passengers to the hubs of Frankfurt (ten) and Munich (nine). Eurowings also flies three times to the Düsseldorf hub. Additional scheduled flights to major European cities are offered via KLM and Swiss connections to Amsterdam (three), to Zurich (two) and with Ryanair to London-Stansted (two).
