The local authorities in the province of Khemisset reported that 5 people were killed, while 27 others were injured, including 12 seriously, in a traffic accident that occurred at about 2:30 pm today, Wednesday, on the regional road No. “Bunjaja” roundabout in the Al-Barashwah community, after a dual-vehicle vehicle collided with a tree, after the driver of the vehicle lost control of it.
Immediately after being notified of the accident, the local and security authorities and civil protection services intervened in order to take the necessary measures. The injured were transferred to the local hospital in Rumani, where a large number of medical and nursing staff were mobilized in order to take care of the cases of the injured and subject them to the necessary medical examinations and treatments, while 5 cases were required. Among the injured, they were directed to Ibn Sina University Hospital Center in Rabat.
An investigation was opened by the competent authorities, under the supervision of the Public Prosecution, in order to reveal all the circumstances and circumstances of this incident.
