Offenbach (dpa / lrs) – In Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland it should rain in the coming days and sometimes thunderstorms. Foothills of a low over the British Isles ensure changeable weather, as the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach announced on Wednesday. Wednesday starts overcast and rainy. In the meantime, the precipitation will subside before showers and thunderstorms will move in from the west. Sometimes sleet or hail falls with small grains. Maximum temperatures are 11 to 14 degrees.

On Thursday, the DWD initially expects regional showers and changing to heavy clouds. The maximum temperatures should again be between 11 and 14 degrees. On Friday it will then only be partly cloudy. It will remain dry for the most part, but a few showers cannot be ruled out. The temperatures rise slightly to 13 to 16 degrees.
