It will be cloudy with rain for another day
On the last day of the week, temperatures in the warm hours will remain in the range of 20-25 degrees. It will be mostly cloudy with short-term breaks in Central and Western Bulgaria and with more sun in the areas around the coast, where only in the evening it is possible to rain. Until noon, the precipitation will be relatively calm, and in the afternoon – for another day, thunderstorms will form with short-term, sometimes intense precipitation and the risk of hail. The areas where it is most likely to thunder are the Danube Plain and the Pre-Balkans, the central part of the Upper Thracian Plain and the lower part of the Struma River.
In the last days of May, the weather will retain its unstable spring character with increased thunderstorm activity in the afternoon and evening and with an increased risk of hail. Around the middle of the week, the instability will be limited in the western half of the country. In the east, the mornings will be foggy, but then the sun will be generous. In the first days of next month, daytime temperatures will rise by 3-4 degrees and in traditionally warm regions, thermometers will reach values close to 30 degrees.
