Next spring, a Marvel production dedicated to the side characters you know very well will hit theaters. Disney representatives shared the first trailer for the film titled Thunderbolts.
The following footage shows the group of anti-heroes, and the team includes Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barns / Winter Soldier, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell as John Walker / US Agent, Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr / Ghost, and Olga Kurylenko as Antonia Dreykov / Taskmaster. The team will be led by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfuss). Harrison Ford will also appear on screen as Thaddeus Ross.
Even before its official announcement, Thunderbolts was billed as Marvel’s Suicide Squad. Jake Schreier is directing the film, with a script by Eric Pearson, Lee Sung Jin, and Joanna Calo.
The Thunderbolts movie is currently dated for May 2, 2025.
