Chairman of Thu Duc City People’s Council Nguyen Phuoc Hung presented a proposal to dismiss Ms. Thai Thi My Dien from the position of Vice Chairman of Thu Duc City People’s Council for the 2021-2026 term to appoint another position. As a result, 100% of delegates in attendance voted unanimously.
At the same time, presented the proposal to elect Vice Chairman of Thu Duc City People’s Council for the 2021-2026 term to Mr. Kieu Ngoc Vu, Head of the Propaganda Department of Thu Duc City Party Committee and Ms. Nguyen Hong Diep, Head of the Culture Department – Sports and Tourism of Thu Duc City.
As a result, 100% of the attending delegates agreed to elect Mr. and Mrs. Kieu Ngoc Vu and Nguyen Hong Diep to hold the position of Vice Chairman of Thu Duc City People’s Council.
Thus, the People’s Council of Thu Duc City has completed the human resources apparatus including 1 Chairman, 2 Vice Chairman and 3 affiliated committees (Economic – Social Committee, Legal Committee and Urban Committee). The strengthening of the apparatus of the People’s Council of Thu Duc City is carried out according to Resolution 98 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City.
Also at the meeting, Chairman of Thu Duc City People’s Committee Hoang Tung presented a proposal to introduce the position of Vice Chairman of Thu Duc City People’s Committee for the 2021-2026 term to Mr. Mai Huu Quyet, Deputy Chief of the City People’s Committee Office. HCM. As a result, 35/36 delegates attending voted in favor.

Mr. Mai Huu Quyet was born in 1984, his hometown is Ha Tinh. Qualification: Master of Law, Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Party and State Government Construction; Advanced political theory. Mr. Mai Huu Quyet used to hold the position of Head of General Department – Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Office; Deputy Chief of Office of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee since June 2019.
