May the pros of the controller rejoice, Thrustmaster recently offered a new modular ESWAP controller under official Xbox license: the ESWAP X Pro Controller.
Designed for Xbox (or PC…) players, this controller is even designed for eSports pros, as the possibilities are enormous.
Because this controller is physically modular with the possibility of inverting the sticks, the directional crosses, etc… but you can also take advantage of an ultra-complete control settings software.
This wired controller (yes…) is therefore compatible with the new generation of Xbox and it is with joy that we connected it to an Xbox Series X without any problem. And that makes it possible to have a controller that does not make as much noise as the official controller … hum …
This new ESWAP version offers new S5 NXG generation analog sticks with the promise of increased precision and better lifespan. And you can feel from the first seconds the good robustness of these sticks while keeping an exemplary fluidity. Real comfort. We can take advantage of better reactivity with a reduced stroke or a longer amplitude in order to be more precise and to have a real progressive feeling.
The use of the keys is also very pleasant, comfortable and precise. We feel this quality of finish and the solidity of the whole compared to the official Xbox controller.
On the front we find the same buttons as on the official Xbox controller with in particular the new Share button. On the rear face there are 4 programmable buttons and trigger locks.
On the edge of the controller there are no less than 6 buttons (and in the middle a headphone jack) with the volume adjustment, the activation of the microphone the choice of the user and the MAP button.
Regarding the physical modules that can be changed, we therefore have the directional cross block and the block for each stick. The button block cannot be changed. Note that this all comes off and back on simply by pulling on it with an extremely efficient magnet system.
We can also change the triggers with a small, simple screwing system. The box also includes two different sticks if you prefer a concave or convex touch or even mix the two.
And in addition to this functional aspect which therefore allows the player to “build” his controller according to his playing comfort, we can also customize the controller and its design by changing the grip coating, the color of the sticks or the triggers with many colors.
I told you about it above, Thrustmaster offers Thrustmapper software which allows you to create different profiles with a whole bunch of settings via your PC: sensitivity of the sticks (to the nearest percent …), triggers, intensity of vibrations, etc …
Ideal for heavy Xbox gamers, this controller ESWAP X Pro Controller is ultra complete and has an exemplary build quality. The possible settings and customization go very far and we can even find on the Thrustmaster site mappings according to the games. We still regret the wired side …
Count around 150 € to treat yourself to this pretty toy and add around 45 € for a color pack (which will include 2 triggers, 2 handles, 2 stick blocks (with 4 sticks) and 1 Directional cross block.
