Throwback: Lebanese Artist Nancy Ajram Falls Victim to Hidden Prank Program 19 Years Ago

Social media users shared a video of the Lebanese artist Nancy Ajram, when she fell victim to a hidden prank program 19 years ago.

In the prank, the artist Abdullah Al-Amer appears as he tells her about her nomination by him to participate in an operetta called “Popular Melodies,” and he appears as he teaches her to sing in the Gulf and do some Gulf dance moves.
The prank program was called “Without Tarab,” and it was shown on Dubai TV.
The duration of the prank is 12 minutes, and Amer was filming the moments of Nancy’s voice rehearsal, and when she danced in a Gulf style.
Then Amer told her in the end that it was a prank show and not an opportunity for her to participate in the operetta “Popular Angham,” as he initially claimed.
