Through the NHL | William Nylander is a doubtful case for tonight

William Nylander could miss tonight’s game

As the Toronto Maple Leafs receive a visit from the Los Angeles Kings this evening starting at 7:30 p.m., a decision will be made before the game regarding the participation of William Nylander. He was at practice last Monday, but missed Tuesday’s practice because he was ill.

John Tavares will be back

After missing the Leafs’ last game against the Pittsburgh Penguins last Saturday and Monday’s practice because he was ill, Tavares will be back tonight at center Pontus Holmberg and Nicholas Robertson.

JJ Peterka returns to the game tonight

JJ Peterka will be able to be in the Buffalo Sabers lineup tonight as they visit the Pittsburgh Penguins starting at 7 p.m. He missed the Sabres’ last two games following a concussion suffered on October 5 against the New Jersey Devils.

One-week absence for Artem Zub

Zub will have to be absent for a minimum of one week following the concussion he suffered following the intense body checking he received last Monday from Los Angeles Kings forward Tanner Jeannot. Jacob Bernard-Docker will make his Senators debut, replacing Zub.

Darcy Kuemper will not be in the lineup tonight

Kuemper will not be in the lineup tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Kings goaltender is suffering from a lower body injury and will be evaluated daily.

Daemon Hunt returned to the AHL

After taking part in last night’s game against the St. Louis Blues, the Minnesota Wild returned defenseman Daemon Hunt to the AHL. In yesterday’s game, he was used for 8 minutes and he scored twice on net.

Congratulations to Joel Edmundson!

The former CH defender will not take part in the Kings’ game this evening against the Maple Leafs in Toronto since he had to return to Los Angeles to attend the birth of his first child. Andreas Englund will take his place during his absence.
