Inter Milan won the Coppa Italia for the first time since 2011 after beating Juventus 4-2 in the final on Thursday (12/5) early morning hrs.
Nerazzurri Quick lead through Nicolo Barella (6′), but replies from Alex Sandro (50′) and Dusan Vlahovic (52′) brought the Bianconeri flying high. Unfortunately for Juve, Hakan Calhanoglu’s penalty (80 ‘) forced the game to go into extra time.
The reigning champions finally fell after Ivan Perisic scored twice in three minutes (99′, 102′) and made Inter the new champions.

Inter Milan immediately took the lead in the sixth minute through Nicolo Barella’s beautiful kick.
Cutting from the left wing, the Italian national team midfielder found space to shoot just outside the Juve penalty box. His shot flew through the crowd before nestling beautifully inside Mattia Perrin’s goal.
Bianconeri Instead, he gained more momentum after being left behind, and was finally able to answer Barella’s quick goal in the second half.
In the 50th minute, Dusan Vlahovic’s shot was able to be blocked by Stefan De Vrij. But Alex Sandro quickly grabbed the ball rebound and scored against Inter. The Brazilian left-back’s strike took a turn after hitting Alvaro Morata before slipping past Samir Handanovic.
Two minutes after wiping out the lead Nerazzurri, Max Allegri’s men immediately turned things around through a counter-attack scheme. Receiving Paulo Dybala’s pass, Vlahovic’s first shot was blocked by Handanovic’s face. Lucky ball rebound to his feet and he executed the second attempt without a hitch.
Sadly come back Juve were delayed after the referee pointed to the spot because Leonardo Bonucci violated Lautaro Martinez in the forbidden box. Appointed as executioner, Hakan Calhanoglu carried out his duties perfectly in the 80th minute.
Juve again committed a violation in the penalty box, this time Matthijs De Ligt was charged with bringing down De Vrij in the 99th minute. As a substitute executioner for Calhanoglu, Ivan Perisic managed to restore the lead of Simone Inzaghi’s troops.
