Morten Strøksnes wanted to show the world as it is and as it was. It took him 20 years. He calls the result “a life’s work”.

Author and journalist Morten Strøksnes traveled to four continents in the footsteps of Carl Sofus Lumholtz.

– I wanted to show the richness of the world and the endangered diversity of the world. Both culturally and naturally. I wanted to show what a wild and wonderful world we had, and in part we still have, says author and journalist Morten Strøksnes.
