Banjarnegara – BIAS (School Child Immunization Month) is one of the programs carried out by the Rakit 1 Health Center. This activity is useful for preventing diseases, MI Islamiyah 01 Rakit is one of the Madrasas in the Rakit District that implemented the program on Friday (16 / 9/2022). The Rakit Health Center implements the MR immunization program for grade 1 students and the HPV vaccine for grade 5 students. Prevention of various types of skin infections and certain types of cancer such as cervical cancer.
Rakit 1 Health Center’s immunization officer, Titi Rahayu, said this program needs to be implemented, especially HPV.
“Implementation of MR and HPV immunization is very important and must be carried out, especially HPV for girls who have reached adolescence, even if there are those who do not take the time in school, they are administered up to the limit of 26 years, “he explained.
BIAS takes place at the same time as the target of children of primary school age and takes place every September and October.
The head of MI Islamiyah 01 Raft Siti Barokah thanked the Rakit 1 Health Center for providing vaccinations to its students to prevent disease. “Thanks to the officers from Rakit 1 Health Center who were tasked with providing vaccinations today,” she said. Siti Barokah also hopes that after immunization and the vaccine all students will be in good health. “We hope that MI Islamiyah 01 Raft students with this immunization stay healthy and avoid various diseases,” she concluded.
