Throne and Liberty will be sponsored by Amazon

Amazon Games is adding another big massively multiplayer RPG to its portfolio. After New World and Lost Ark, she decided to sponsor the release Throne and Liberty from Korea’s NCSoft. The title is headed to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, including cross-play.

Unfortunately, we do not know the release date. The developers have been working on the game for over 12 years. It was originally intended as a sequel to the first Lineage. However, in the course of many years of development Lineage Eternal gradually turned into a whole new series.

At first glance, Throne and Liberty looks like a pretty standard MMO. But if you endure, you will see how the players transform into giant stone golems, who break down the city walls. You will also be able to transform into a bird or a fast beast.

Throne and Liberty bude combine story adventure and action battles with ever-changing geographic and environmental features. The battles will be both PvP (combat against players) and PvE (combat against artificial intelligence).

Christoph Hartmann, vice president of Amazon Games, said on the occasion of the news that online games will continue to be an important part of the company’s strategy going forward. NCSoft was chosen by Amazon because of their experience in operations, localization, marketing and community support.
