Perinthalmanna: Jolly Rovers Club organized the 41st Dr. M.S. The first phase of the Nair Memorial All Kerala Cricket Tournament has started.
In the first match, Thrissur Lungs Cricket Academy defeated Presidents Youngsters Perinthalmanna by seven wickets. Score: Presidents-128/10 (25.5). CG Vijayakumar (43) and Mansoor (33). Ananthusunil (4/18) and Adarsh Ranjith (4/24). Lunges-129/3 (13.2). Ananthu Sunil (72) and Anand Sagar (31). In the second match Tech Friar Budolin C.A. Kolazhi defeated Kunnapally Cricket Club by eight wickets. Score: Kunnapally-169/9 (30). Rahib Lal (41*) and Muhammad Rafiq (38). V.S. Sriraag (4/21). Budolin-173/2 (24.2). PG Sibin (69), N.A. Nidhinkumar (46).
Tournament Malappuram District Cricket Association President K. Shaukat Hussain inaugurated. Jolly Rovers Club President S.K. Unni preached.
On Wednesday morning Muthoot Microfin Limited Ernakulam-Jolly Rovers Oldies Perinthalmanna and Lungs Cricket Academy Thrissur-EKK in the second match. Globe Star will also compete with Aluva.
