SWITZERLAND [NEWS SERVICE] ⋅ Today the FOPH’s latest quarantine list comes into force. In the surrounding countries, several regions such as Veneto, Thuringia or Vienna are now considered areas with an increased risk of infection.
(gave / sat) Anyone who has been arriving in Switzerland by plane since February 8, must show a negative corona test. There is also an obligation to quarantine if a country or an area is on the risk list of the Federal Office of Public Health (BAG). As the BAG announced on March 10, the following latest quarantine list will apply from Monday, March 22:
- Germany: State of Thuringia
- Frankreich: Region Center-Val de Loire, Region Hauts-de-France, Region Île-de-France, Corsica region, Region Normandie, Region Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Region Occitanie, Region Pays de la Loire, Region Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.
- Italy: Abruzzo region, Apulia region, Region Basilikata, Region Emilia Romagna, Region Friuli / Julisch Venetien, Region Campania, Region Latium, Liguria region, Marche region, Molise region, Tuscany region, Umbria region, Veneto region.
- Austria: Province of Burgenland, Province of Carinthia, Province of Lower Austria, Province of Upper Austria, State of Salzburg, State of Styria, State of Vienna.
The states and areas that are new on this latest quarantine list from March 10th are listed in bold letters.
