A trio violently assaulted a 76-year-old woman in a Bronx apartment building over the weekend, disrupting new video broadcasts.
The elderly person was entering the lobby at Roberts and Hobart Avenues in Pelham Bay at around 12.30pm on Sunday when the three suspects approached and one of them pulled his hair, police said.
The victim is shown trying to close the door on the attackers, but to no avail.
Once inside the hall, one of the suspects – who appeared to be a teenage girl or young woman – grabbed the elderly victim’s handbag and swung her around until she fell to the ground in the lobby, according to cops and video.
The crew then took off with the purse, containing $50, a wallet, debit card and insurance cards, police said.
The elderly person was taken to Jacobi Medical Center with a fractured hip, police said.
The suspects fled on foot to Hobart Avenue and are still wanted, cops said.
