Last Friday, November 10, a 42-year-old woman from Beaulac-Garthby received a three-year penitentiary sentence in connection with deviant gestures of a sexual nature towards her newborn, acts described as “repugnant » by the judge assigned to the case.
The summary of facts filed by the Court mentions actions involving the woman and her husband, the latter having expressed in particular that he wanted to involve the child in the couple’s sexual relations. He expresses being clearly sexually aroused by the presence of the newborn. A most explicit passage reveals that following fellatio on his partner and the latter’s ejaculation, “the child receives a little sperm on his foot. The accused licks the semen off her daughter’s foot.”
Frustrated by the double life of the man who was slow to formalize his separation with another woman, in addition to failing to pay his mortgage due for a house recently acquired with the accused, the latter decided to file a complaint against him for fraud. Her testimony, however, quickly expanded to include allegations regarding sexual acts committed toward the child, in which she eventually admitted to taking part. The woman also expressed regret for the actions committed, before being escorted to the penitentiary. Also targeted by accusations, the toddler’s father will return to court in the days to come.
